Sale negotiating help needed

Had offer on house yay! What do you do about negotiations on price.
Say House on market for 200k and offered 180k can we try and push it up a bit?
( not real prices but comparable iykwim).
Can we say 190?? What would you do?

Yes you can ask for £190k

But - what do you want/need. If you are happy at £180 and they are a good buyer you could go with it

Ask the estate agent - he should know the buyer's position
Did you tell the estate agent the lowest you would want though? He might have passed that on...

They have gone up to 190k * now!
