Running sky q and Freesat in the same house

My internet connection has suddenly got terrible, we live in a semi-rural village and don’t have access to fibre just normal broadband. It’s never been amazing but was always pretty good at about 13-16mbs on speed tests. We’re hVing an extension built and I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but al of a sudden it’s terrible and the router keeps dropping it’s connection. We aren’t even running anything off of it accept sky q and two iPads that’s are used infrequently. Anyway I’ve gone down the route of phoning my internet service provider and they’ve sent out a new router which I’ve installed today and it’s still no better. We have sky q multiroom and despite there being Wi-fi signal it just won’t connect, we need to put a new tv service in the extension both upstairs and down and I’m
Thinking that because the internet is so unreliable maybe Freesat would be the best solution in the new areas, but I’d still like to have sky in my main living room. I’ve read that they can’t run off of the same satellite dish because of the new sky q connectors or something? Does anyone know if this is the case? And does it mean I have to have two dishes on my house? Thanks
