Help me choose a paint colour

I have a lovely young man painting the undercoat in my kitchen and a big tin of mizzle waiting to go on as a top coat. Now I’m having a wobble.

It’s a west facing room, but there’s an extension at the end, so the kitchen part isn’t right next to the window. It’s currently just plaster and I haven’t lived in the house before, so I’m unsure of the light.

I’m swinging towards pale powder or skylight. I’m on my way to the Dulux shop to get a couple of sample pots of their colour matches.

Has anyone used either paint? Thoughts?

Took 3 coats though, first coat I thought it looked like a prison!

I recently painted a west facing room which can be dark at times in a Johnstone's colour match of F&B Borrowed Light and it's lovely. Not cold, not lilac toned and not grey toned either.

Your bathroom is gorgeous tomboytown! I saw that pic on MN and that’s why I bought mizzle Grin. I’m going to use it in the hall and landing which have east and south facing windows.

I love borrowed light, but possibly for a bedroom. I actually have Laura Ashley seaspray white in a bathroom and suspect they are very similar colours.

I’ve gone with Skylight. I painted two big tester pages and walked around for ages inside and outside the shop. Pale powder was a bit too washed out in brighter light. I really hope Skylight isn’t too murky!

The mizzle will look lovely in a hall.

My son just said he wants light blue bedroom so I’m going to check out that borrowed light, skylight’s a bit more grey? It’s lovely
