Removing pictures from wall stuck on with Command strips

I put up several pictures a few months ago using Command strips and as I'm due to move house this week I need to take them down.
Most have come down fine but I've got about half a dozen that I just can't shift.

The website instructions say to pull from the bottom as this will release them, and for most of them it has worked.

Has anyone had the same experience or have any ideas on how I can get them off the wall without damaging the paint and plaster please?

So you pull them and they don't budge so you're scared to pull harder, is that it? If I'm worried about paint peeling I put a bit of pressure on the top of the strip with one hand and just pull the bottom bit reeeeaaalllyyy slowly.

Google says use a hair dryer!

did they go on upside down? Pull UP??

Some of them you do need to pull surprisingly hard! They stretch right out and will eventually come away.

Thanks for your very quick replies.

Straight after I put the post on I went to have another go and have managed to get them off.

I rolled up a tea towel into a long strip and put it behind one of the corners and pulled on both ends of the towel to ease the two velcro bits apart. It still took a bit of effort, but it worked!

No damage to the paintwork. Job done. Thanks again though :)
