First return radiators or new carpets?

We need to get a handy man in to help us finish of a long list of jobs as we have a pressing deadline.

The majority of jobs need doing after the carpet/flooring are fitted but I think we should put the radiators back up before carpets in case of leaks. DH says we should just get a handy man to do it after the carpets.

Which is best? Thanks

Radiator first. Always a risk of a leak

Thanks. I was sure that was the better plan

Definitely radiator first, especially if you're putting the 'old' one back. Sometimes they have black gunk in them which dribbles out at the top of the stairs

Radiator first. Our plumber singed the carpets with his blow torch.
