Our bathroom door opens outwards into the hall at the top of the stairs and I live in fear that someone will open it over enthusiastically and knock a passing family member straight down the stairs.
I think a sliding door could be the answer. Not a pocket door as that would be too much work as the wall is already there.
Any experience or advice please? Where did you buy your fittings and can you use the existing door or do you always need to get a new one? Anything to consider or avoid? I’d rather spend more for a good quality mechanism that won’t jam / break in 5 minutes.
