When they wash and the spin starts the whole ceiling and even doors shake. I've tried to get it checked but it seems their washing machine is beyond repair. They say ids the floor.

Is there anything I can do to get them change the washing machine or at least try to fix it?

is it an old building?
we had to put jelly feet under our washer to stop it sounding like a helicopter.
are you/your neighbours renting?

If it was the other way, what wouldls you do? They probably don't understand what to do and don't want to buy a new washer speculatively

If you offered to buy them an anti vibration mat would they use it? They're only about £10.

I have replaced my washer to reduce vibration- do the pads work?

It's an old building and we share a freehold

we have these

www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Washing-Machine-anti-vibration/dp/B00CDNQB2I?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

and they help a lot.

is there anything in the lease about this?

Ive not used a pad myself but the reviews are good. Would be worth a go if they agree to it.
