Pregnant / flat rental

Hi,
Viewed a property OH and I would like to rent today.
I am four months pregnant and didn't actually mention this but the advert didn't specify no children. Worrying about it now. They are sending an offer form through tomorrow and I hope that will offer some clarity over whether a baby will be a problem. Can anyone shed any light on whether this might be an issue?

Why should it be a problem? My only concern as a LL would be if the property was practically appropriate for someone with a small baby - ie, would you want it in a few months if it is only one-bed, has lots of steps up and nowhere to store a pushchair. It's no one's business if you are pregnant though.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
How long are you planning on staying there? Only it says no children and strictly speaking you haven't got any actual children. Ok you'll have a baby in a few months but as long as the flat is safe for him/her then I can't see a problem. The only other issue that might come up is concerns about noise from crying. I remember a flat we rented said kids were only allowed to visit a couple of nights a week! So basically they didn't want anyone renting it with kids living there. I think personally banning kids from living in rented accommodation is an issue of human rights and we would have never been able to have our son if we had waited to buy a house as we could never afford it..
Good luck x
