We're looking to do some work on our 1950's 3 bed semi corner house, hoping to get some advice and ideas.
As it's a corner house, the entrance to the house is on the side and looks very flat. It's not very visually appealing and the entryway is cramped, so we're thinking of extending to the front.
Lots of our neighbours have done similar to the photo, but not sure if this would work for a corner house. I like the modern look though and it does suit the style of house.
I'm a bit clueless as to what to ask a builder for in terms of design and potential cost. Most info I find online seems to be for porches that are not integrated in to the house so to speak.
The entryway work would be part of a larger job of generally sprucing up the downstairs toilet, hallway, stairs and landing and master bedroom.
Any advice as to what we should think about would be a big help. Tia!
