Moving to a new property next month which requires extensive decoration throughout. I'm looking for a LVT or quality laminate to install across kitchen and family room - ideally in a wood finish. Anyone willing to share a pic of their magnificent flooring to help a fellow mumsnetter?

xx

I am searching for this as well. I have quick step laminate in my kitchen but think i want vinyl this time. I find choog floors difficult. Will watch this thread.

The Quickstep laminates are very good and come highly recommended, as does their LVT.

Following as same position!

We have just had amtico laid in our front room which looks fab, but we had quite a lot of issues with our subfloor (was mostly wooden floorboards, but joined with a concrete area where an extension had been done). Hence there is a very very slight ‘hump’ when the two floors meet even though our fitter was very experienced. So Amtico is great, we have New England Oak, but the subfloor preparation is hard unless your subfloor is like a billiard table !

I like The Colour Flooring Company, I've used their vinyl in my kitchen and plan to use them when I get my bathroom re-done. They have rubber, vinyl and cork flooring. They're block colours though, not imitations of wood or stone.

Would post a pic but my floor's covered in dog hair. Blush

Mumtofourandnomore could you post a pic? I love the idea of amtico but there are so many colours to choose from.

We tried the LVT and couldn’t get on with the underlay (understatement) Ripped it out, took the unused boxes back for refund and bought vinyl click from B and Q. This is a pic of my dressing room but intend to put same in downstairs bathroom soon. Easy to lay and looks good. Soft and warm underfoot.
