Outdoor carpet over decking

We have a massive area of decking that is really looking tired has anyone used outdoor carpet over decking or anything else to go over it for a quick and economical update.

We already have a lawn next to it so I don't think it will look right.

Have a look on Pinterest .. loads of cool ideas .. you leave a border around the edge .
