Regrets

My long term boyfriend and made a decision to move to Essex earlier this year so we can get a good property for the future. I've since had a little baby girl (8 months old now) and I feel so much regret moving away from family. We bought a new build off plan that's going to be completed next spring and I want to sell immediately. I want to sell as soon as physically possible. And I feel so much regret about the decision for some reason and I can't seem to be able to shake it for love nor money. I was to stay in London now. Can I sell a new build immediately? As in after the completion has taken place. I don't care about making a profit but it would be nice not to make too much of a loss...

What about staying put and renting out the new house? Build up some equity in it that way and sell after a few years.

Or maybe you’ll reconsider moving into it later

I don't think I've got the motivation and will power to be a landlord. I sounds stupid but I just want rid

I wouldn't buy the house in the first place. Even if you've put down some reservation fee, speak to the developer you may or may not get it back. Even if you can't get it back, it'd be easier to lose, say, 2k than go ahead with the purchase and then try to resell.

I think that your bigger hurdle could be working things out with your partner as it's a massive u turn you want to make.
