Having new fascias/soffits and Tudor boards installed but can't get a rosewood to match the windows. DH hates the rosewood anyway and wants black window frames. New installed stuff is costing £5+k and needs doing asap as the front of the house is falling off. Don't want to get new windows as planning to extend in 3years once remortgage time comes, so will get all new then.

Anyone painted their window frames..was it easy.. did it work? Any tips and advice will be appreciated thanks.

Never done it but sandtex does pvc primer, some people get them sprayed professionally, other people have used farrow and ball. I suppose if you really don't like what you have and it's only for a couple of years until you can afford to replace them then it's with a try.

we are currently painting our UPVC conservatory with Zinsser Allcoat.
It is really easy to use and can be ordered in any RAL colour.

It is supposed to be long lasting (can’t vouch for that as only just doing it) it is recoatable in 1 hour.

I am really impressed with the finish.

Bedec multi surface paint, no undercoat necessary.
