We're having our kitchen and living room knocked through to make a big kitchen diner so the fireplace will be in the kitchen.
It's only used decoratively now but there is a gas connection- it's just never used.
There'ss a recess either side which we'll fill with work surfaces but just thought I'd see if anyone had done anything interesting worth their fireplace in a similar situation?
