Here’s our current floor plan. The room labelled kitchen is a downstairs shower/utility room now and the kitchen is at the back (reception 3).
We’re planning a loft conversion and we can have 2 bedrooms plus a bathroom OR a master suite OR a slightly smaller master suite plus study.
We’ve got one child at the moment but would like 2 or 3. A guest room is also very handy for us as family live abroad, but not essential. House is 4 bedrooms atm with massive bedrooms 1 and 2, bedroom 3 is a good double and bedroom 4 is a small single room which we use as a study. The bathroom is also small for the size of the house so another possibility is to knock the bathroom and bed 4 together to make a nicer family bathroom.
We’re end of terrace with loads of space at back and side so plan to do an extension in the future (probably 7 years+).
Any advice on layout generally and what we should do with the loft would be great!
