Electrician quote - reasonable or not?

I’ve had a quote through and am trying to figure out if it’s a lot or not. We’re having the electrics moved by the supplier and the meter moving next week, but need an electrician at the end apparently to hook everything back up and to move our consumer unit (and fix a fault with the RCDs). We’ve been quoted £350 and considering there’s no parts it just seems a bit high? But I might be entirely wrong.

I know I should have got comparisons, we’ve just got renovations coming up and I’ve been to focused on organising the big stuff that this slipped through the net!

Any thoughts from anyone who knows roughly what this stuff would cost would be welcome. We’re in the north of England if it makes a difference.

I have just had the same thing done, moved the meter to make way for a bigger front door. And I am in the north. Ours was £600 but included the cost of a new consumer unit also. I think it seems quite reasonable.

Fair enough! Our consumer unit is fairly new so maybe that is a reasonable quote just for work - it just seemed a lot when there were no parts! Thank you Smile
