Bathroom Planning Struggle

Ok, so short of it is that we've moved into a new house which needs renovating. So far so good until now...

We're currently planning the bathroom (which is to be fitted first week of June) but I naively didn't realise what a task this would be.

We haven't got an endless budget and as this is the first room and only bathroom to spend proper money we're looking for longevity in what we buy.

So far we have purchased a white gloss wall hung vanity unit and matching cabinet. I spent hours yesterday just looking at taps and it's panicked me a little!!

Please can you lovely people guide me on any brands you recommend for the following:

Shower Tray (stone cast resin) 900x1400mm
Shower - Thermostatic w/ Rainfall
Frameless Shower Screen
Tap - Basin
Toilet - Close Coupled

Thank you in advance!

Plumbcentre has everything you need, the website is utilitarian as it's for trade predominantly but they sell everything

I like bristan for taps and Ideal standard for loos. Shower screen we just got a cheap one that looked easy to clean.

Aquadart screens and tray both really good quality, have had before and just installed again and happy with them.

Bristan good for taps and showers.

Toilets - just had a rimless one installed and it’s great, seems to be filtering down to the cheaper ranges now, so watch out for that. Other than that I don’t think you need to go too crazy, just something that you like, and can easily replace the seat of..

I just looked at ours and further to @AnemoneAnemone's post we have exactly that! Bristan taps and Ideal Standard loo. We went to City Plumbing and got a discount using the plumber's trade details.

I seem to have landed on those by sheer luck though - it was all about the aesthetics for me. With the loo I was just conscious of not getting something with ledges, screw holes or anything which would attract dirt, dust and general grime.

Thank you to you all for taking the time to reply and help.

I've been looking alot at stuff today and feel a little more at ease about it all. Even found a Bristan tap to order.

Went into proper panic mode before, so appreciate the advice 😊
