Hi MNetters

I have searched extensively the existing TW threads and decided to create my own one. We are looking to move to TW in the next year from London and need help in deciding on area. We have done a few trips to TW and have a basic idea of layout.

Currently focussing on St Johns, St James ( and St Peters to a lesser extent) Budget 600k, looking for 3 bed house with garden. Off-street parking is a nice to have. Looking to be off a main road, not too built up, good access to parks and green spaces. Am commuting into London and to happy to walk / cycle to the stations. Plan to have children very soon but am well versed with primaries oversubscribed. We are catholic so should we aim for the St Augustine's school? Should we put all our eggs in the 'school basket' and choose a home based on distance, or just choose an area we like?

Haven't really considered Southborough / High Brooms, but given the high concentration of estates, I'm not that keen to live near an estate.

Really appreciate your recommendations.

Cheers
