Help with floor plan?

A bungalow has come on the market near us, it's within our price range by a lot as work needs doing, I've attached the picture of the floor plan. Could anybody help redesign the layout?
As we would want an open plan kitchen with dining table, and a large lounge. We're happy to take walls out.

Knock bedroom one and kitchen into one room with doors opening at one end. Try to build in a utility room somewhere for washer, dryer etc. Remember you need a cupboard for ironing board, vacuum etc.

Or knock kitchen and shower room into one and make study bathroom.

If you make study a bathroom can you have a door leading into bedroom one as well or build an en-suite into bedroom one?

If you’re happy to get rid of a bedroom, I’d go for something like the attached plan

Blue lines - walls, red lines - new doorways. I like having a separate small living room away from the kitchen/family room
