Hi. I've brought an old second hand pine chest of drawers. It has a waxed finish but desperately need a clean and rewax. Will I be ok giving them a wipe with a mild soapy solution. Or perhaps baby wipes. I don't want to wax it and seal in the filth. It's not an expensive piece or family treasure!
