Boiling taps

We are looking to get one for our kitchen - chrome and ideally 4-in-1. Unfortunately I don't think we have the mega top end budget!

Any recommendations? Or don't buys?

We are also planning on getting one so I am also looking forward to suggestions from boiling water tap owners.

I'm planning on getting one, the cheaper ones don't tend to do 100c. Not sure if I can share links to taps but seen one for about 500 which does, can get it a few places including the major online relatives beginning with A.

The Qettle 4-in-1 looks good, and almost fairly cheap (approx £500). Has anyone got one and can report back?

We have the Insinkerator - not quite boiling, hot and cold. I love it. DH fusses a bit about the taste of the tea. But a few hundred quid versus other options which were 4+ times as much - totally worth it in my book!

We have an insinkerator 3n1 - I think it's about £4-500 and I wouldn't be without it now.

We have the Franke Omni and it’s fantastic. Water is 100% rather than not quite boiling. I can’t find the Quettle link but when I saw it, I think it was made by a Franke Company and the finish on the tap was slightly different to the Omni. If you have the details I can take a look. The boiler on the omni is about 14” by 10” and sits neatly in the kitchen cupboard. We put ours on a small plastic tray as our original boiler had a few issues with leaks. Service from Franke was amazing. Even DH who said he wouldn’t have a boiling water tap - waste of money - is 100 % converted!

Thank you @bouncydog that is good to know about the Franke.

Here is the Qettle if you wouldn't mind - thank you.

It's the 4 in 1 I'm interested in https://www.amazon.co.uk/QETTLE-Instant-Boiling-Water-Filtered/product-reviews/B07GH4HNM6

Hi - yes it's made by Greg Rowe and they are an affiliated company of Franke. Boiler looks very similar to the Omni 4 in 1. The tap is different in that the Omni has levers on the right hand side for the boiling and filtered water. However this one is about half the price of the Omni and our experience of the Omni (with a few teething problems that were sorted out very quickly by Franke Filterflow) has been excellent. Filters are very easy to change and you don't have to subscribe to a regular service at a ridiculous price like you do for some of the others. We are doing our utility room next and I am very tempted to install a quettle in there for cleaning stuff like roasting pans etc which I don't do in the kitchen as precious about the granite worktops!!

Also noticed from one of the reviews on Amazon that the service team mentions the same gentleman that we have dealt with and he is truly an excellent example of amazing customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The rest of the team are also extremely helpful. It also appears from one of the reviews that you can turn this tap on and leave it running to fill with boiling water which is the downside with the Omni, in that it is spring loaded so you have to hold the handle open. Not a problem if you're not a spindly weak little thing, but does mean if I want to fill a pot with boiling water for the hob, I have to rest it in the sink or on the worktop to fill!
