Ceiling wallpaper crack

Hi. There is this crack in the ceiling wallpaper in this bedroom. Any ideas how to fix it? Also I know it’s a bit random, but anyone has any idea where this wallpaper could be from if I have to just replace the cracked wallpaper?

Can you get into the loft to see what’s going on?

Looks like a foot has put through from the loft - that's not just a crack looking at the state of the wallpaper.

Has there been a minor leak?

We moved in recently. But when we had asked the previous owners, they had told there wasn’t any leak or else they would have sorted out as it’s close to the bulb. I have t gone into the loft yet. Will my going up there making it even worse? How to fix this?

Just because the seller said that, doesn't mean there wasnt a leak
