How long to re-tile, replace worktops and sink?

How long for a standard sized kitchen would it take to re-tile it, change two worktops and change the sink?

Been quoted for 1 days work but not convinced it’s possible? Being charged double time for Friday as it’s a bank holiday too so I’m thinking this guy is going to still be doing it on Monday meaning a monster bill!

Following with interest as we've just decided to do the exact same in our kitchen!

We are having exactly this starting 23rd April, plus replacing hob, sink and extractor and cupboard doors. Our kitchen is medium to large sized, and we have been told it will take 6 days. Will keep you posted!!

We got a plumber in to change the sink and it took him about 2 hours but it was an undermount sink and he needed to batton it for support, had 9m of quartz worktop fitted in about 1.5hours and we tiled an area that was 1.2m x 0.8m and it took us half a day, but we didn't know what we were doing and had to take a whole row off twice because we'd done it wrong. I'd say that all doable in a day for a professional.

@PickledWilly How much is that costing if you don't mind me asking?

PickledWilly · 17/04/2019 13:45

£2260 Shockbut we do live in south west London. Doors/worktops/tiles etc were about £1500 on top of that

The work top & sink would take a few hours but I don't think he could do the tiles in a day. I'd say 2 days minimum for tiles depending on whether or not he is removing them, repairing any damage to the walls.

@PickledWilly Thanks for that, it does seem pricey but then everything is isn't it, even up north I get a shock when quoted on jobs!!
