God no.

bordellosboheme · 14/04/2019 19:33

It's like a giant man Cave. Not my taste

Pharlapwasthebest · 14/04/2019 19:33

It’s is horrible! Far to over the top.

Pharlapwasthebest · 14/04/2019 19:33

Too

Piglet208 · 14/04/2019 19:35

It's the stuff of nightmares. I could never sleep with that neon clown face. Ugh.

wowfudge · 14/04/2019 19:37

Not to my taste. Chris Evans alluded to him and his team clubbing together to buy a seaside place and I wondered if this was it.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 14/04/2019 19:41

1.5 million and only on-street parking?

Hippopotas · 14/04/2019 19:46

It’s nightmarish

therearenogoodusernamesleft · 14/04/2019 20:16

Ewwwww

7to25 · 18/04/2019 14:35

Spelling mistake in the first sentence.

I love themed houses which are based on an era - the 30's, Victorian etc. House themed houses!

This is just annoying. And what is that mezzanine for exactly? It buys you zero separation from the living area.

The listing is very pleased with itself, but it will take a hell of a niche buyer to pick it. You have to want EXACTLY THAT - and someone with a £1.5m budget who doesn't want EXACTLY THAT will be able to buy any other house and make it what they like.

So they either need a buyer with the money who loves it as is, or a buyer who loves the potential of the space AND can afford to gut it and start again.

Squirreltamer · 18/04/2019 18:53

This would make a great bar... but doesn’t work as a house. More like a modern version of the film BIG.
You’d never be able to park outside your house as the street is filled with 1 bed apartments.

Hastings always has all these quirky houses usually they’ve been flipped.

For 500-800k Mark you can get some crazy amazing houses in Hastings. Talking London film star Georgian 5 floor jobs. Seems that Hastings is cheap compared to the places around it. Not familiar with area but jaw dropping period properties.

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 18/04/2019 19:03

It is cool but not for me.

The clowns and carnival theme are the stuff of nightmares, for me at least.

Harebel · 18/04/2019 19:04

Ghastly. I've got a headache already.

Didyousaysomethingdarling · 18/04/2019 19:22

Why does it remind me of the seventies children's TV programme 'WHY DON'T YOU?'

AllTheFunAndGames · 18/04/2019 20:03

Yes. This was definitely on another thread a while back. I remember the creepy clown and the cross above the bed. It has been on the market for months.

ScreamingValenta · 18/04/2019 20:08

I quite like it, but is there another way of accessing the utility room besides crawling to it? Are you supposed to crawl through, pushing your washing basket in front of you?

francienolan · 18/04/2019 23:41

The clowns put me off too much. I also think it's hard to tell but in the master bedroom in the floor plan it seems like the toilet isn't in a separate room??

I feel like I'm not being a diva when I say it is a requirement for all of my toilets to be behind closeable doors, and yet this is the second listing I've seen this week (that monstrosity in Birmingham is the other) where that is not the case.
