I wondered if anyone had any recommendations......so where moving into rented accommodation for 5/6 months while waiting for our new build, We really need WiFi, nothing too fast speed, neither of us work from home, but just general internet usage.
We don't want to sign ourselves into any contract, and ideally just want a box we can connect ourselves and pay as you go, not to worried if their is an fee for the box, just something quick and flexible. Any advice would be appreciated.

It’s a few years since I was in that spot but the cheapest options at the time were splitting the bill with a neighbour temporarily and changing my phone contract for one with unlimited tethering. My current phone contract offers 2Gb of tethering which is vastly more than required for all work/life admin I do.

Ask how much data you use per month on your broadband at the moment and then consider if you would be happy to cut out video streaming. If the answer is yes you may find you are already paying for the solution.
