Hi,
We are looking for a 3 bed apartment and found one in Upton gardens which is a development on the former West Ham football club ground..the connections to Liverpool street seem fantastic there is an outstanding primary very close by for our 2 year old..the price also seems to be affordable for a zone 3. But is there a catch here? Any feedback of the surrounding areas, is it upcoming, green spaces around?

Have you been for a walk around? Where do you live now?

It is very urban, not much greenery and feels kind standard zone 3 east london grotty. But the price is affordable and the transport links are really good. Supposed to be gentrifying.

Not sure what your families' background is, but those schools around the development have like 75% students with English not as their first language, which is typical for Newham in fact slightly on the low side, many Newham schools are at 80%+.

Thanks for the review..did some further research and realised that we won't enjoy living in that area..not that we don't like diversity but would certainly not prefer our child being feeling left out with children who don't speak English and majority of whom are from radically different cultures.
