Shared Ownership

My DP has a shared ownership property, that his EX is still on the mortgage for. They can't get her off unless the house is sold. It's now been up for sale since November with zero interest or viewings.

We're ready to move in together but can't afford to buy so will be renting. I can't move in with him cos his house is too small and I wondered if anyone had any advice on what we can do?

I'm got visions of the house not selling for 10 years and feel like we're stuck in limbo.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom?

Hiya, yeah. We're both ready for the next step and want the financial benefit of splitting the bills.

I suppose the obvious question is why there's no interest? And what can you do about that? Even if it means investing time or money, which the ex doesn't match. Might be worth it to increase the interest.
