Please help me with the utterly tedious (and panic inducing) task of deciding between 32 or 38mm kitchen knobs!

As long winded title states, I am in a completely stressed out state over this choice.

We have a blue shaker kitchen and going for brass cup handles on drawers and knobs on doors including the integrated fridge and freezer.

Standard size is 32mm. I’m worried it will be too small to pull open the weighty fridge and freezer. 38mm feels too big for the regular door and larder doors. I have to order from the same place as the cup handles (which I already have) so these are my only two choices.

It’s a ridiculous decision and I am frozen with indecision. I had samples sent out but they haven’t arrived and builder is now annoyed saying he wanted them ASAP and I need to decide now!

Even once I get the samples I would still love anyone to tell me what size door knob they have on their cabinets/long doors please??!

Get both, try them, use the ones that you prefer, sell the others.

Go to nearby place with kitchens like b&q, homebase or Wickes and try. Else get one extra big knob for fridge as spare and rest small.

I work as a kitchen planner and never usually put knobs on integrated appliances such as fridge or dishwasher, best would be D handles to get a good grip, but if that's not an option you need the biggest knob or the cup handle

What height are your wall cabs?

Hi floppy. They are 2120 with the legs. Single door opening for a full height fridge and another for a full heigh freezer

Ok, so put the big handles on fridge and larders, small on other cabinets and cup handles on drawers. Then everything will be in proportion. So long as you follow a rule that certain types of cabs have certain handles it will look great.
