Porch costs

Hi, new to this forum and feeling exasperated with the cost of a porch. So far 3 quotes between 15 & 18k. Nothing fancy, it is on the side of a bungalow 3x 1.6 m breeze block , rendered, lean to roof, door and window. Is this too expensive? I live in Wimborne Dorset. Thanks in advance.

Gosh that does sound more expensive than i would have expected. I was considering something very similar size but may be rethinking if that is the going rate! Sorry I am not helpful though as ive not got any quotes myself for it yet as every builder ive spoken to wants plans to be drawn up before quoting.. but i dont want to pay for plans if we will not be able to afford to do it anyway?!

Hi We are noe thinking of a timber structure with weatherboarding. Someone is coming to quote Wednesday, fingers crossed !
