Wondered if anyone is currently using The Build Team. There’s some reviews out there but they are years old and I was keen to get up to date info / feedback as considering them for some works

Hi, I've seen them a few times mentioned on mumsnet and I also met with them when I had my extension done in London.

Their reviews are terrible so I would avoid!

I used More Space who quoted the exact same amount. www.ineedmorespace.co.uk/. I was very happy with them.

Hopefully you didn't go there, I have experience of them, I cannot recommend enough that you steer well clear.

Absolutely awful company, they work to a poor standard, their work doesn't meet regulations, they will take your money and leave you stressed and upset.

They sell a dream, you get a nightmare.

Hi all. I also had a really terrible experience with this company. It was about 10 years ago, but I have just recently been contacted by another customer who seems to have had a really bad experience. So it seems they continue in the same vein. Based on my experience, I would steer miles clear!

Correction - more like 5 years ago than 10. Fortunately the longer it recedes into the past the less miserable I feel about it all...
