Hi all, wonder if anyone has any idea about this one.
Bought a house recently and, really I know I should've checked the taps before completing but I didn't, so there you go. Anyway the water pressure in the kitchen is a bit odd.
The taps don't twist very far for a start.
When I turn the cold water on its anyone's guess whether it'll be a trickle, full flow, or something in-between.
Hot water tap is fine until the hot water comes through and it goes down to a trickle.
Bathroom taps and shower are absolutely fine. Washing machine is plumbed into the kitchen and at the moment seems fine, but only did a rinse test run so far (though that seemed to work very well).
Can't see any leaks but there's a slight damp smell under the sink.
I'm in a hard water area.
Could it be an easy replace the taps solution, or do I need to get a plumber out?
I'm at work so I won't be able to do any tests on it today.
