Need help with upstairs layout

So 3 storey house, need help with revising the top floor which is the roof.

We don't currently have dormer windows but that is a possibility but obviously ups the cost. The ceiling is very low so thinking of opening it up so the apex is part of the rooms.

Current layout is a small double with awful en suite (no shower), 2 singles.

On the middle floor we have a small bathroom with bath, ground floor has small shower room.

Ideally I would like an en-suite but perhaps a jack and Jill would be better otherwise the people occupying the single rooms have to trudge downstairs to use the loo at night etc. 2 further bedrooms on the middle floor.

Open to any suggestions, have thought of moving the landing but not sure it will achieve much...

What rooms do you want? The same number of bedrooms? How about double bedroom, large bathroom and single /study/ dressing room? If you want current rooms but more space a dormer sounds the way to go.

Dormer won't increase the floor space just give hide height across front and back.

I don't know whether to stick with the exact same double, en-suite and 2 singles or someone has an ingenious layout I've not thought of. I can't see how to put in a shared bathroom without losing the view...
