Ordering from DIY Kitchens planner

Has anyone ordered from the DIY Kitchens planner website? How do you order appliances or non-standard units from there? The planner seems to add end panels and filler panels which I assume are required rather than optional extras? When your kitchen is delivered does it come with a plan outlining where everything goes?

Any advice? Many thanks

Before you order submit it to diy kitchens to check the plan, they also added my order to my basket before I paid for it. They also made some of my panels a slightly different length to make it work better! For example on an island I wanted a double length side panel rather than two seperate one which's is what the planner thinks you want!

Suggest you ring and ask. I went in to the showroom and they fully checked my order which helped,as were bits missing. They also suggested some modified cupboards which were cut down but helped fill spaces and also support and island.

They are brilliant though so stick with it

As pp said - get the plan checked & they will sort out the fillers & panels.
With the appliances - do a comparison first as they are not always the cheapest. Also I have read that your contract is exclusively with the manufacturer & so if anything isn't working etc. they will not collect it themselves but pass you on to them.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I have been having trouble logging in to my plan. Not sure if the problem is at their end or mine. Will persevere!

DIY Kitchens have just automated their painting and the machines do a horrible job. They're sending kitchens with some doors missing, others needing replacing. They can't cope with all the support tickets they get and started sending automated responses instead of dealing with the issues. All around disaster. Please order somewhere else or at east wait until they sort this mess out.

Hope, you don't sell Kitchens..my experience was, brilliant but of course as you point out they could have had a sudden deterioration...but would be surprised if this went on for long

My understanding was the painting was automated. There was no way they were hand painted
