Kitchens - what to choose if not handleless

So I've got the potential layout for new kitchen worked out, and I think I know what colour units and worktop I want, but can't decide on the most basic thing.
The doors!
I initially wanted handleless but I think the look is too miminal for me and our un-minimal lifestyle.
Much as I love the look of shaker and in frame, I want a less traditional look so I've settled on a plain slab door.
Haven't a clue about which handles to choose.
I've even considered handles on base units but press touch doors on wall units.
Will that look daft?

I like the look of bar handles.

vertical ones are fine, but knobs, or horizontal bar, will grab your clothes as you walk past, unless the fixing bracket is right at the end.

Look for something that can't gather crumbs, drips or spills.

Here are some to be going on with

and some knobs

Thanks @PigletJohn
That's what we have got on existing kitchen and much as I would like a change, these have been no problem. I've never caught myself on them.
Aesthetically I would like them all fitted horizontally as one of the many things that annoy me about the current kitchen is varying orientation of the handles

We have handles at the bottom but handleless at the top - kitchen designer, husband and friends all say it's lovely - I'm still undecided on whether it looks like we've not finished the top cupboards. But we have also been assured that if we change our mind, the kitchen company will come and put handles on the top for me!!
I felt the same as you - we are not minimalist enough for complete handleless, but I do agree the top ones without handles make it look more modern. And yes, we have all our handles in the same direction, other than the fridge freezer and larder cupboard, but these are next to each other and at one end of the kitchen.

This isn't who we used, but the 'Bow handles' - the ones with the three finishes are what we have gone for.

@PazRaz10 haha that's what I was worried about - the kitchen looking like we ran out of handles!
Do your top units have spring press doors?

Only the one above the oven has a spring press. The others have a silver metal groove (across the whole width) under the doors, that can't be seen until you open it.

I think cup handles can look really good.
