Kitchen cabinets

I want to replace a dresser with a double base and wall unit. Ican’t find just that, rather than an entire fitted kitchen, except some very expensive ones which aren’t what I want.
I’d prefer wood so would it be better to get them made by a joiner? How would costs compare?

Any kitchen place will sell a couple of units, ikea, benchmarx, wickes?

You can design your own cabinet and they send it to you packed flat. I've had loads of stuff thrown them over the years.
