Hoping you lovely lot can help.

The house I am away to move into had a pre-picked kitchen and its not my ideal kitchen. It's a bit dark but obv I get to pick all the flooring/wall colours and accessories etc.

Would be happy for any and all suggestions! I'll try and attach a pic in the comments cause the mumsnet app is horrific and wont let me attach pics to the OP.

Nope, tried about 5 times and it wont let me post a pic. @MNHQ please fix the android app it is an absolute pain in the area.

For anyone wanting to help a girl out Google "dark ash cashmere kitchen" it's the pic called Symphony kitchen. Thanks!

I would keep walls white/off white
Do you like bright colours or more muted shades?
Some shades of green would make it fresher I think

Thank you so much! Not a fan of bright, definitely muted colours.

I liked the idea of a blush pink maybe?? Or if I keep the walls off white I could go cream appliances? I currently have the Swan retro range in green which would also work I suppose?

Mint green?
Lemon?
I think blush pink would be nice too.

jackstini · 04/04/2019 23:00

Swan retro green definitely goes

Maybe pick up that shade in a blind too?

StormcloakNord · 04/04/2019 23:07

I'll try that and see how that goes! Thank you guys so much :)

Purbeck Stone from F&B is a good match for Cashmere from DIY kitchens ( not sure about Symphony ) if you want some wall area to match the doors anywhere.

I very nearly got a kitchen in similar colours. Was considering dulux ‘timeless’ for the walls.

How about a muted grey-toned blue colour?
