Wood paint if it wood, metal if metal b &q has hunners!

Cuprinol garden shades is good, Wilko also do an outdoor paint range.
Might work out quite expensive if you need to buy lots of different colours. Could be worth checking Freecycle etc to see if anyone has smaller amounts of leftover paint?

there are only four colours in a rainbow

You can get tester pots of cuprinol shades in Homebase.

I guess you could mix paints too potentially; I was thinking 7 as in the spectrum but you could achieve that with just the three primary colours if you mixed them.

Oldbkueeyes · 03/04/2019 06:49

My granddaughter is a stickler for colours im told so mixing may not be the answer! Thank you for comment.

AwkwardPaws27 · 03/04/2019 16:39

MrsTerryPratchett that's what I wondered Grin

PigletJohn · 04/04/2019 00:23

@MrsTerryPratchett

Red plus Yellow = Orange

Yellow plus Blue = Green

Violet and Indigo are quite strange colours.

BiddyPop · 04/04/2019 09:41

Some blue into the red would make violet, perhaps a bit of white will give the indigo from the violet?

BlackSatinDancer · 04/04/2019 10:09

Indigo is a very deep rich blue. I don't think making violet paler would make it.

In any event I think OP has decided against mixing colours.

AnemoneAnenome · 04/04/2019 10:24

I find purples really hard to get nice from mixing.

You'll struggle to get indigo and violet ready mixed though. I'd get a nice dark purple, and add some blue for indigo and white for violet. Add the purple to the white, not the other way round.

We live in the north east of England we have to wait for a sunny day, but I will post one.
