Any people living in Deal here with young children please? We have just had an offer accepted on a house in central Deal and I’m now researching pre-schools for my DS2.
He is currently at nursery in Tunbridge Wells two days a week and loves it, so am a bit apprehensive to make the change but know he will adapt at his young age - especially if it’s a similar environment. I hope!
Do you think it makes sense for him to attend a pre-school (he will be nearly three by the time we are there) rather than nursery (less disruption) and if so can you recommend good pre-schools linked to primaries? By good, I mean with lovely kind staff and a nurturing environment. I’ve checked the local primaries to the house and they are Deal Parochial and Warden House, plus one other I’ve forgotten the name of. Would love thoughts on these! I know Kingsdown has a great rep but I think we would have catchment issues and love the idea of everything being walkable (live rurally now and it’s a drag driving all the time).
Another option is Northbourne Park nursery (private) - but perhaps silly if we plan on a state primary.
Also any good toddler club / activity recommendations?
