Hello Ladies!
Please can anyone advise on costs of a hip to gable dormer loft conversion. we are in the process of getting drawings for one but panicking slightly about the cost of it!
we are Based in Harefield, Middlesex.

We have just had a quote but in South Wales - £38,000

We had a different kind of loft conversion (dormer windows) came to 20k

My advice would be to go with a smaller local company who are happy to show ypu what they have done in local houses, go by recommendations rather than online reviews.

Avoid the big national ones, imo

We had a hip to gable with large dormer 18 months ago (this included a full new roof so it was completely retiled). We're in the south east and it cost about £45k. We got two bedrooms and a shower room so it's a decent size.
