Wetroom drain cover removal help!

Hi - does anyone else have a wetroom shower tray that has a linear, tiled drain cover? I need to remove it to clear all my hair a mystery blockage causing a slow drain but I can't work out how.

The cover very clearly does come out, as it moves around. But my fingers are too fat to get down both sides and lift it pincer-style, and if I get my fingers down just one side it kind of wedges itself into the opening.

I'm pretty sure it's one of these - but if not exactly this, then very similar: www.europeanheritage.co.uk/products/wetrooms/shower-trays/pcs-30mm-trent-linear-offset-end-drain-1200x900-e0510/

maybe a couple plastic spatulas would get it up.

Thanks, PigletJohn - I managed in the end, with a lot of wiggling! And I found a hair trap underneath, cleared that, and all is now well.
