The ones that vent into your island and then out. Just looking for reviews really as there's not much information out there yet. I think the main ones are Bora, but Elica Tesla one seems cheaper. Would love to get any experiences, thanks.

Dont have one but the majority opinion is not a good idea to vent steam downwards - as it tends to turn back to water and sit about slowly rusting the ducting - not sure about the elica one but have heard the bora one has this issue

Thanks Dolly I hadn't heard of this issue. There's still very little info about them available.

We have a bora but not yet in use so can't help you, however, there are some mumsnetters who have the bora and have no issues at all. You can opt to have the steam ducted out or just down under the plinth.
Not heard of the above issue either so it will be good to hear from people who have had this issue

Thanks Mummy

We're rebuilding so will probably have been out ducted out. Meeting with the builder to discuss tomorrow. Let me know how it goes when you start using it!
