Where did you buy your internal doors from?

We are coming to the end of our extension and are looking to replace all the internal doors. There seem to be lots of places to buy them online so I’m looking for recommendations of places you have bought your doors from. We are looking to buy a mix of solid, glazed and frosted glazed doors which means I can’t use howdens or benchmarx who have limited frosted glass ranges. All suggestions or warnings will be greatfuly received. Thanks

I use Premdor from Wickes because they're close and deliver.

In the next town along is a specialist door supplier (for builders and DIYers, not for fancy interior designers) so I would go there if I could be bothered. I have had a local joiner make a door for me (it is very easy for a person who knows how).

Magnet sometimes have some nice doors but I think the joinery is trade only.

You haven't got to buy all your doors from the same place.

You should be able to order frosted glass, cut to size, from a glass merchant and fit it to any G door. It will probably need to be safety glass, which is made to order, but Laminated glass is more burglar resistant on external doors.

btw it is a good idea to renew your door linings "frames" as the old ones may be tatty or a poor fit. If the same carpenter fits them it will remove the tedious "not my fault, it's your frames" arguments.

We had lovely oak ones from Wickes, they all had to be fire doors in our 3 storey house. Very well made.
