...or is there something not quite right about these photos? I won't say what it is, would be interested to see if anyone thinks the same.

The views from the windows look photoshopped?

Singlenotsingle · 20/03/2019 22:48

They look alright to me.

icanhearapindrop · 20/03/2019 22:49

I was thinking the windows too.

GreenTulips · 20/03/2019 22:49

Is it the view from the windows

Corrag · 20/03/2019 22:49

That''s what I thought @MayFayner, but then I started to doubt myself.

The views from the windows look photoshopped and really badly.

BulletWithABun · 20/03/2019 22:50

I know this house and the views are real.

Corrag · 20/03/2019 22:50

Not just my imagination then!

Are they exaggerated in the photos @BulletWithABun? Have the colours been enhanced or something?

OP posts:
GreenTulips · 20/03/2019 22:54

Maybe it’s special glass that has no reflection and traps the heat or something?

BulletWithABun · 20/03/2019 22:57

The colours may have been enhanced, I think most house photos have fake blue sky etc dont they. The views really are that pretty though, just maybe not so brightly coloured. It's a beautiful area. I wish I could live there!

Corrag · 20/03/2019 23:06

I must be naive, didn't realise it was common to do this. They look like paintings to me. Would put me off viewing a property if it was this obvious. (Not that I could afford this anyway, was just planning my escape to the Highlands when I win Euromillions.)

Looks like a reasonable view for a coastal Skye place. The unbelievable part is the weather!

Squirreltamer · 21/03/2019 01:02

The photos are shot using HDR. Horrible technique to use for estate agents photos.

It’s like watching TV with HD motion smoothing on. Makes my eyes go funny. But most people think thats what HD looks like... ughh

MissLadyM · 21/03/2019 01:04

It's horrible though. Giving me huge bad vibes

AuntieOxident · 21/03/2019 01:12

We had an estate agent round to give us a valuation on our property Before putting it on the market .
He was very proud of the photos he had taken of other properties in his portfolio and said not to worry about decluttering etc because he could photoshop any clutter out. He also said he would 'enhance' the views from the house along with the external look of it....
We did not go with that agency. (Pointless really, as soon as anyone saw the house in the flesh they'd realise! I felt he would say anything to get our business. )
