We have a large roof lantern and wish we had allowed for one of the sections to open - is it possible to retrofit this?

best to refer back to the manufacturer.
usually anything is possible - but at what price and effect on visual appearance.
what is style and frame materials of lantern?

We put it in years ago. It is very large - 3m x 2m - UPBC raised triangle shape. It has 4 rectangular panels each side and triangle shape at either end.

probably do-able but a PVCu frame isnt as strong as aluminium (although may be reinforced with steel inserts).
Is the installer still in business - I'd try them first
