Anyone here used professional decorators? How much did you pay for, say, a 3m x 4m room, 2.5m high ceilings, with skirtings, architraves and doors in gloss. No repairs required apart from the occasional hole where a picture's been hung. Just refreshing a tired room, really.
One neighbour said £400, the other one reckons they paid £1000! If the latter is accurate, I'm going into the trade.
