Need some advice, we are hoping to extend our kitchen into our now unused utility/garage, this runs the full length of the side of our house, it has become a dumping ground for just about anything, but my washing machine is out there, and the garage is just the same. We knocked down the wall between our kitchen and dining room many years ago, now we want to extend using the utility space. We do not need planning permission, but do you think we need an architect ? to help us use the space well ? Dont know where to start. We live in a traditional semi detached house. HELP
