Can I waterproof cane furniture for outdoor use

I’ve got some cane chairs that are for indoors but don’t need them anymore but deep need outdoor seating. Are there any products that would waterproof them as I’m thinking they'll go mouldy and rotten outdoors. Huge thanks!

I dont think it would work - too many places where water would get in and sit. If you have somewhere to store them and only put them out when you are going to use them?
