Kitchen choices!!

Hello - I'm looking for feedback on good value companies that offer wood framed kitchen with hinges on doors, rather than internal catches. I've looked at Handmade Kitchens, Classic Kitchens Direct, Yew Tree Designs and Four Corners (although I'm not sure we can afford these). Most of the reviews are positive - but there's always the few negative ones that make me wonder...e.g. the response from Yew Tree Designs on some negative feedback forums is quite brusque.
Anyone had kitchens from these companies? What was your experience and do they still look good?
Are there any others I should consider?
Grateful for all help Smile

I am not sure if they offer what you are looking for but we got our kitchen from DIY kitchens and I couldn't be happier. Basically, you will create your own design on the website, their sales person will check, and that's it. You can order large samples so you know how it looks like. We considered Howdens before this but now I have to say that DIY is much better quality. And half a price.

Thanks Amunamun, I'll have another look. I'm really looking for a design that uses visible hinges on the doors, rather than internal bar shaped hinges (not sure of the proper names) to open and close doors. Last time I looked DIY Kitchens didn't do this, although they do look good value!

You can buy the butt hinges and get your fitter to replace the spring hinges. Diy kitchens might leave your doors undrilled if you ask. You also need a ball or magnet catch and bumpers but they only cost pennies.

Great idea NotMeNoNo, thanks Smile. I'd still like to hear from anyone with experience of using other companies for comparison if anyone can share?
