South Yorkshire help please

Hey you lovely lot.
I’m wondering if anyone can help, I feel like I’m chasing my tail trying to look for somewhere to buy!
I recently moved to Scawsby/Cusworth in Doncaster to a rented property, and while I like the immediate area and the local primary is great, it goes rather “chavvy” just outside of the estate I live on (I hope that doesn’t offend anyone as that wasn’t my intention!).
I can be very flexible where I buy as I work from my home office, so could move somewhere with better value for money as I don’t commute. Do you have a suggestion of where to buy with the following taken into consideration?

• budget up to £150k
• 3 bed, ideally a semi/detached
• very good primary school (most important to me)
• within 10 mins of motorway access
• South Yorkshire
• not too “chavvy”
• not on the floodplain

You could try the Aston/Aughton/Swallownest area, which is next to junction 31 of the M1 and about a mile from the M18 - price-wise it hits your criteria, Aston is the less chavvy end. The schools there are ok, but don't have detailed knowledge. You would get an ok 3 bed semi for that sort of money.

You could also try Todwick or Anston, which is the other side of that junction, though I'm less sure about house prices there.

For the floodplain, avoid areas near Rotherham like Canklow, Catcliffe and Brinsworth.

Thorpe Hesley is very close to the M1 (and Sheffield/Meadow hall).
