Hello,
I hope all is well.

Its been years since i posted on here, everything looks so different :-)

In need of some advice.......after 28 years of living in central London, i have now decided its time to move out as things are just getting hectic.
looking through right move i have come across a beautiful 4 bed detached in Northampton, Wellingbrough (360k) for a price which is cheaper than a studio flat down here in london :-)

now, is it just me or is the price really low because of the area/ crime rates?
Seems like a decent area with nice big houses (NN8 postcode)

i will very much appreciate if someone that is living or has any knowledge of the Northampton, wellinbrough are can advise me further.....

I’m from Wellingborough and don’t live too far away these days. Wellingborough is certainly on the up these days with the new shopping centre rushden lakes being close by and links to London. However parts of it are rough and the town centre remains dire. If I was choosing a town I think I’d pick a village in Northants over Wellingborough.

Wellingborough isn't that bad, house prices are much cheaper around here compared to London, I live not that far away on a new build estate and a lot of my neighbours are from London

@myusername2015

Can you tell me on which parts are rough, I’m looking at a place in Cotswold drive....... the area seems really nice with houses that look fairly new.
